Amman, Oct. 13 (Petra) – The national football team will play a friendly match against Albania at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday as part of preparations for the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup and the 2026 World Cup.

The team, which has been holding a training camp in Turkey, recently defeated Bolivia 1-0 in a friendly match before traveling to Albania to face its team tomorrow.

Coach Jamal Salami is leading the team’s training sessions in Albania, with all players taking part.

The Jordan Football Association aims through these camps and friendlies to enhance the team’s readiness for the Arab Cup in Qatar and the World Cup to be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Jordan has already qualified for the 2026 World Cup for the first time in its history, becoming the first Arab team to secure a spot in the tournament.
