Amman, Nov. 26 (Petra) Officers at the Southern Military Region thwarted an attempt by five individuals to illegally cross the border within its area of responsibility on Tuesday.

The individuals were intercepted after attempting unauthorized entry. Rules of engagement were applied, and the suspects were detained and handed over to the competent authorities.
