Amman, Nov. 4 (Petra) -- The University of Jordan has partnered with Eureka Tech Academy in a move to strengthen collaboration in technology education, innovation, and youth entrepreneurship. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by University President Nadhir Obaidat and Eureka Director Afnan Ali.

The agreement aims to launch joint initiatives such as workshops, competitions, and specialized training programs that nurture creativity, entrepreneurship, and technical skills. It will also create opportunities for university students to gain practical experience and employment through Eureka’s programs, while collaborating on the development of educational content.

Under the partnership, the two institutions will exchange expertise, provide access to university facilities for joint projects, and offer special discounts for staff families to enroll in Eureka programs.

Reem Fayez, Director of the University’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, highlighted that the collaboration aligns with the university’s mission to equip the next generation with the skills to leverage technology in driving economic growth and sustainable development.

Afnan Ali emphasized that the partnership will expand Eureka’s reach, promoting creative thinking and innovation in areas like robotics, artificial intelligence, and engineering among children and youth.

Since its establishment in 2015, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center has supported student-led projects by providing technical, administrative, and financial assistance, fostering a culture of innovation and connecting the university with broader economic sectors.
