44/ Awqaf Minister inspects pilgrims' conditions in Medina

Medina, May 28 (Petra) – Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh on Wednesday toured the accommodations of the Jordanian Hajj mission in Medina to inspect the conditions of pilgrims and assess the services provided.

Accompanied by Director General of the Hajj and Umrah Department, Majdi Btoush, and other ministry staff, the minister reviewed the quality of services at the hotels where Jordanian pilgrims are staying.

Khalaileh listened to pilgrims' feedback, which mainly focused on catering services and the operation of transportation buses. He also checked on the well-being of elderly pilgrims, directing staff to ensure the provision of medicine to a pilgrim in need.

Several pilgrims expressed appreciation for the administrative and religious guidance teams from the ministry, citing responsiveness and support during their stay.

The minister instructed the administrative mission to promptly address any issues or concerns raised by pilgrims. He also visited a Jordanian pilgrim receiving treatment at a local hospital to check on his condition.
