51/ Wall Street slips for second day, oil prices rise
New York, May 6 (Petra) – Major U.S. stock indexes fell on Tuesday for a second consecutive session, while oil prices edged higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 390 points to close at 40,829. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite declined by 154 points to 17,689, and the S&P 500 slid 43 points to settle at 5,606. Meanwhile, the price of U.S. crude benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) rose by about $1 to $58.09 per barrel. //Petra// AF
