  45/ ASEZA chief visits Queen Rania Center for Community Empowerment

Aqaba, May 6 (Petra) – Chairman of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) Nayef Fayez, visited the Queen Rania Center for Community Empowerment on Tuesday to review key programs and projects aimed at capacity building and community development, particularly targeting youth, women, and entrepreneurship.

During the visit, Center Director Ahmad Ghneimat briefed Fayez on the services offered to the local community, including initiatives that focus on skills development and capacity enhancement through the use of modern technology and artificial intelligence, with the goal of improving employability and supporting community entrepreneurship.

Fayez toured the center’s facilities alongside ASEZA Commissioner for Entrepreneurship and Community Development Ramzi Kabariti, Commissioner for City and Infrastructure Abdullah Njadat, and Director of Community Development Wasim Jarab'a.

The delegation reviewed a number of specialized initiatives designed to prepare young people for the labor market and support their professional readiness.

Fayez commended the center’s staff for their efforts and highlighted the center’s active role in promoting innovation and empowerment. He reiterated ASEZA’s commitment to supporting such initiatives and providing the necessary resources to enhance and expand them, describing them as key pillars of ASEZA’s 2024–2028 strategic plan for sustainable community development.
