Gaza, May 6 (Petra) – At least 20 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Tuesday after an Israeli airstrike targeted a school sheltering displaced civilians in central Gaza, according to Palestinian sources.

The sources said the victims included women and children, while dozens remain missing or wounded following the strike on the school located east of Al-Bureij refugee camp.

Many of the casualties are in critical condition, and several victims are still trapped under the rubble, the sources added.
