Amman, May 4 (Petra) – Senator Mohammad Daoudieh, head of the Jordanian parliamentary delegation participating in the 38th Arab Parliamentary Union Conference in Algeria, met with Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, the Speaker of the Somali Parliament.

The meeting, which was also attended by Fathi Jaghbir, President of the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry, explored avenues for expanding bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly nations, according to a statement from the Senate.

During the discussion, it was agreed that Jordan’s Ambassador to Algeria, Shaker Al-Amoush, would collaborate with his Somali counterpart to coordinate and follow up on the next steps, paving the way for a new phase in Jordan-Somalia relations that will focus on mutual interests and constructive cooperation between the two countries.
