25/ KHCF, Czech embassy sign grant agreement to treat cancer patients
Amman, May 4 (Petra) – The Czech government has provided a grant to provide the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) with medical equipment and devices. The donation would contribute to support the treatment infrastructure and enhance quality of healthcare provided to cancer patients in Jordan and the region. Chairperson of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) and Center (KHCC), Her Royal Highness Princess Ghida Talal, attended the signing ceremony of the agreement with the Czech Embassy in Amman. The agreement was signed by Chargé d'Affaires of the Czech Embassy in Jordan, Sylva Pavlasov?, and the KHCF Director General, Nisreen Qatamesh. Speaking at the ceremony, Qatamesh indicated that this partnership would improve the level of the center's medical services and enhance "comprehensive" healthcare for patients. Meanwhile, Pavlasov? affirmed her country's commitment to continuing its support for Jordan's healthcare sector. The diplomat also noted the donation primarily seeks to enhance the center's capacity to accommodate the increasing number of patients. Additionally, she expressed appreciation for the "professionalism and dedication" of the center's medical staff, and their success in providing the "best possible" treatment for all patients. //Petra// AG
