Gaza, May 4 (Petra) – The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported on Sunday that 40 people were killed and 125 others injured in the past 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli military attacks.

In its daily update, the ministry stated that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on the streets, with ambulance and civil defense teams unable to access them because of the security situation.

The ministry confirmed that the total death toll from the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, has reached 52,535, with 118,491 wounded. Since the resumption of hostilities on March 18, 2,436 people have been killed and 6,450 injured.
