Amman, March 26 (Petra) -- The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor reported that Israel has killed an average of over 103 Palestinians and injured 223 every day since resuming its military operations in the Gaza Strip on March 18.

In a statement released on Wednesday, the organisation highlighted the ongoing mass casualties, citing instances where the Israeli military continues to bomb residential homes.

The latest Israeli attack was at dawn today when an airstrike targeted the al-Najjar family home in Jabalia, northern Gaza, killing eight Palestinians, including five children.

The Observatory condemned the targeting of homes and makeshift shelters, where civilians sought refuge after more than 18 months of violence as a daily crime carried out by the Israeli military.

It described the Israeli actions as part of a systematic policy aimed at deliberate killing and the destruction of community life, creating an unbearable living situation for residents.

The organisation expressed concern over statements made by Israeli officials regarding the implementation of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to expell Palestinians from Gaza.

It noted that the current situation on the ground constitutes forced displacement under the guise of evacuation orders and heavy aerial bombardment, forcing hundreds of thousands to flee once again without shelter, as the Israeli military has destroyed most homes and buildings in the Strip.

According to the Observatory, more than 200,000 people have been forced to flee within the past week, with thousands more preparing for displacement and searching for temporary shelter amidst widespread insecurity and a lack of basic services.

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor urged all nations, both individually and collectively, to fulfill their legal obligations and take immediate action to halt the violence in Gaza.

It called for effective measures to protect Palestinian civilians, to lift the blockade on the territory without delay and to ensure the unhindered movement of people and goods through all crossings.

The organisation emphasised the need for urgent steps to prevent further violence and the ongoing humanitarian crisis facing Palestinians.
