Amman, Mar. 26 (Petra) - Director General of Maqasid Charity Hospital, Dr. Bassam Shloul, announced the hospital has provided treatment to over 53,000 patients countrywide since the start of the free medical days in 2018.

In a statement Wednesday, Shloul noted the hospital has implemented 104 free medical days in Jordan's various governorates, aimed to provide medical care to local communities, with support from Jordanian Zakat Fund of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places.

Shloul said the hospital's most recent activity was held last Sunday, which served 400 patients in Hasa and Jurf districts in southern Tafilah governorate by providing free medical day.

Shloul stated the hospital, which is the first endowment healthcare facility in the Kingdom and the region, provides all medical specialties and services.
