Amman, March 25 (Petra) -- Monther Al-Hmaidi, Media Officer at the Jordan Red Crescent, has been awarded first place in the 2025 Humanitarian Photography Competition, under the theme "Humanity Through the Eyes of an Artist." The competition was supported by the Qatar Red Crescent.

The Arab Red Crescent and Red Cross Organization announced the winners on its official website following an evaluation by a panel of expert judges. Ahmed Al-Mansour from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority claimed second place, while Mohannad Bakara from the Syrian Arab Red Crescent Organization secured third place.

The competition aimed to strengthen communication between national Red Crescent and Red Cross societies and highlight their humanitarian efforts. It provided an opportunity to showcase and document the impactful work of these organizations through photography, shedding light on their activities in various humanitarian fields.
