London, March 25 (Petra) -- The British pound continued to strengthen on Tuesday for the second consecutive day against the US dollar and the euro.

According to reports from British financial centres, the pound traded at $1.2951, marking a 0.05 percent increase. It rose against the euro by 0.08 percent, reaching €1.1968.
