Amman, March 25 (Petra) – The Amman Youth Center has launched the "Green Circle" initiative as part of the Generations For Peace "Sawn" climate action program, with support and funding from UNICEF. The initiative, held at the center under the Amman Youth Directorate, engaged 45 young men and women.

In a statement on Tuesday, the center highlighted that the "Sawn" program seeks to empower youth with the skills necessary to lead climate action both locally and globally. The program focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture, addressing environmental challenges, and managing organic waste through composting in line with circular economy principles.

The initiative stems from a series of training workshops aimed at equipping young leaders with facilitation and advocacy skills to advance climate action. These workshops enabled participants to assess community environmental needs and develop sustainable solutions to climate-related challenges.
