13/ Aqaba Authority Simplifies Entry Procedures for Tourists During Eid Al-Fitr

Aqaba, March 25 (Petra) -- Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), Nayef Hamidi Al-Fayez, has directed the facilitation of entry procedures for tourists arriving to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr in Aqaba.

The aim is to ensure a smooth and efficient entry process without delays or disruptions, allowing for a steady flow of visitors and avoiding congestion at key entry points.

Al-Fayez made these remarks during a visit to King Hussein International Airport and the Wadi Araba border crossing on Tuesday, where he reviewed the operations in light of the expected increase in visitors arriving to Aqaba through both air and land routes.

The Chairman stressed the importance of speeding up entry procedures and ensuring the issuance of necessary visas for non-Jordanian tourists. This will enable visitors to complete their travel plans and enjoy their Eid holiday in Aqaba.

Al-Fayez also praised the coordination between all relevant agencies and service providers at the airport, noting their efforts to maintain high standards of security, safety, and service.

He further highlighted the need for continuous improvements in passenger services, aiming to minimize wait times and provide a comfortable and secure travel experience for all visitors.
