12/ MoDEE's Jordan Source Program Boosts Global Reach for Jordanian Innovators

Amman, March 25 (Petra) -- Jordan Source, a program created under the umbrella of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), has organized a series of events in collaboration with global venture capital firm "Antler", as part of Jordan's broader strategy to strengthen communication and promote its growing information and communications technology (ICT) sector.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the program revealed that it hosted a key meeting between Antler's Middle East and North Africa branch and more than 20 Jordanian entrepreneurs and startup founders. As part of the event, a select group of participants was invited to join the "Antler" residency program, where they will receive mentorship, funding opportunities, and access to global markets to further grow their ventures.

In addition, the program conducted an online seminar for Antler's partner network, which included 22 entrepreneurs from the Gulf and Levant regions. The seminar aimed to introduce the participants to Jordan’s dynamic technology ecosystem and highlight the country's role as a regional ICT hub.

The event featured several keynote speakers from the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. Dana Darwish, Director of "Jordan Source," delivered the opening speech, emphasizing government policies that support business development and their positive impact on the country's technology landscape.

Amira Qarqash, Director of Digital Skills Development at the Ministry, discussed the project’s contribution to preparing youth for careers in the ICT sector, particularly through the integration of digital curricula in schools. She also provided an overview of the program’s achievements.

Odeh Haddadin, Director of Business Development in the Digital Sector at the Ministry, highlighted the incentives offered to companies in Jordan, including access to skilled talent, market expansion, intermediary grants, and technological hubs. He underscored how these resources are fostering investment and driving economic growth in the country.
