34/ Government continues dialogue with parliamentary party blocs, says minister

Amman, March 24 (Petra) – Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani, posted on X, confirming the continuation of meetings between parliamentary party blocs and Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan. These meetings are part of a series of sessions held with parliamentary groups to follow up and enhance coordination.

Momani, who is also the government official spokesperson, explained that the meetings, held last Wednesday and Monday, addressed key national issues, including the national carrier, comprehensive health insurance, the state of education, economic policy, and projects supporting growth and improving living standards.

He added that these discussions highlight the importance of the partnership between the executive and legislative branches. He also mentioned that similar meetings will be held with other parliamentary party blocs in the future.

Last month, the Prime Minister met with several parliamentary blocs in the House of Representatives, including the National Charter Party bloc, the Will and National Islamic bloc, and the Islamic Action Front Party bloc.

The government had pledged in its ministerial statement to maintain a cooperative relationship based on the Constitution with the National Assembly and political parties, ensuring continued communication with all parliamentary blocs and respecting the pivotal role of political parties in the modernization process to build a programmatic partisan life under His Majesty's vision.
