Amman, March 24 (Petra) -- Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi discussed on Monday with Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Youssef Rajji ties and the developments in Lebanon.

Safadi and Rajji urged an end to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon and the implementation of the ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel in all its provisions.

Safadi reiterated the Kingdom's full support for Lebanon and its security, stability and sovereignty and its support for its efforts to reactivate its institutions and rebuild after the election of a new president and prime minister.

Rajji praised Jordan's support for Lebanon and its continued efforts to mobilise an international stance to halt the aggression and consolidate the ceasefire in all its provisions.

Safadi and Rajji affirmed the two countries' keenness to deepen cooperation in various fields.
