Amman, March 23 (Petra) – The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has warned citizens about a fraudulent link sent to their phones, urging them to click to obtain a violation record to avoid worsening penalties.

The PSD's spokesperson cautioned citizens about a scam link that appears on their phones, disguised as a message from the Jordanian police, inviting them to access their violation records to prevent further escalation.

He confirmed that the necessary actions have been taken to block the link using technical measures, and the Cybercrime Unit is tracking the source of the link to take further action.

He urged citizens not to interact with the link or any unknown links they may receive to avoid falling victim to fraud or having their personal data and funds stolen.
