Amman, March 23 (Petra) – The Traffic Department has warned of heightened traffic congestion in Amman and across the Kingdom throughout the week due to increased shopping activity and preparations for **Eid Al-Fitr. Authorities urged drivers and road users to plan their trips in advance to avoid traffic bottlenecks, comply with traffic regulations, and refrain from random or illegal parking. The department also emphasized the importance of maintaining a safe distance between vehicles, avoiding mobile phone use while driving, and staying alert to road conditions. Additionally, the Traffic Department stressed adherence to speed limits and avoiding sudden lane changes to ensure safety, allowing families to return home safely and celebrate Eid with their loved ones. Parents were advised to exercise extra caution when accompanying children in public areas and near roads.
