Amman, March 23 (Petra) – A senior military source in the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army announced that the Northern Military Zone successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by two individuals attempting to cross from Syrian territory on Saturday.

The source stated that rules of engagement were applied, leading to the arrest of the suspects as they attempted to illegally cross the international border. The individuals were subsequently transferred to the relevant authorities for further legal proceedings.

JAF reaffirmed their commitment to acting with full force and determination to prevent infiltration and smuggling attempts, ensuring the security and stability of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
