Amman, Mar. 22 (Petra) – A man assaulted and killed his wife at dawn on Saturday in their home in Zarqa governorate and then fled the crime scene.

In a statement Saturday, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said the suspect's whereabouts were spotted and was nabbed.

The spokesperson noted the victim's body was transferred to the Forensic Medicine Center at Zarqa Governmental Hospital for necessary action.

Additionally, he added that competent authorities launched an investigation to determine the circumstances behind the incident and take legal action against the perpetrator.
