Harasis added that fatwas for 208 and 575 actual and non-actual divorce cases were made, while 896 others were issued during personal interviews. Harasis noted the "highest" number of causes behind divorce and marital disputes during the first week of the holy month tackled failure to understand and fulfill familial and nuptial duties. Through numbers, Harasis stated statistics monitored during the first week of Ramadan reflect Jordanian society's "commitment to its piety," as religion is the "fundamental component of its culture, customs, and orientations." //Petra// AG
