Baghdad, June 29 (Petra) – Iraq’s Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) announced on Sunday the killing of three ISIS militants in the Balkana mountain range in the northern province of Kirkuk.

In a statement, CTS Commander Lieutenant General Karim Al-Tamimi said that counter-terrorism forces successfully eliminated three ISIS members in the area. Among those killed were a regional commander of the Suleiman Bek sector and a senior militant known as Abu Musa Al-Ashari, identified as a key figure in the group’s so-called Kirkuk province.
