33/ Jadara University’s Pharmacy Faculty earns U.S. accreditation
Irbid, June 25 (Petra) Jadara University on Wednesday announced that its Faculty of Pharmacy has received international accreditation from the U.S.-based Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), positioning the institution as the leading private university in northern Jordan. The ACPE accreditation is one of the most prestigious and credible recognitions globally in pharmaceutical education. Shukri Marashdeh, chairman of the university’s board of directors, said the milestone reflects the high quality of education and academic excellence at Jadara, commending the advanced laboratory infrastructure and educational services offered by the pharmacy faculty. University President Habes Hatamleh emphasized that the university is steadily advancing toward securing international accreditation for other faculties, notably engineering, business, and information technology. Vice President Iman Basheti highlighted that the achievement aligns with the faculty’s strategic vision of reaching global academic standards. She noted that the Faculty of Pharmacy had previously earned a 4-star rating in its first appearance in the QS World University Rankings, underscoring the quality of its education, facilities, and laboratories.
