London, June 25 (Petra) The British pound rose against the US dollar, crossing the $1.36 mark.

According to financial reports from the UK, the pound increased by 0.17 per cent, trading at $1.3635. The pound rose slightly against the euro, rising by 0.04 per cent to €1.1727.
