7/ Justice Ministry Rolls Out 11 New E-Services to Streamline Judicial Work
Amman, June 24 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Justice has launched 11 new electronic services aimed at enhancing the efficiency of court operations and supporting judges in their daily work. The announcement, made Tuesday by Minister of Justice Bassam Talhouni, marks a new phase in the ministry’s digital transformation strategy, which targets the rollout of 100 e-services by the end of 2025. The newly introduced services allow judges to access electronic case files, review documents, track and process requests, receive notifications, and view draft rulings directly through their digital accounts. Judges can also send and receive official circulars within the secure system. Talhouni said the launch reflects the ministry’s commitment to improving the speed and quality of judicial proceedings, in line with the Royal vision for modernization and ongoing justice sector reforms. "These tools will help reduce paperwork, cut operational costs, and allow judges to access their case files at any time," he said. "This not only accelerates litigation processes but also helps alleviate congestion in court buildings and improves oversight of administrative performance." The minister described the new digital services as a significant step toward enhancing the independence of the judiciary and aligning with broader national efforts to modernize public services through technology. He added that further e-services will be introduced in the coming months. The Justice Ministry first launched its electronic services platform at the end of last year, offering 46 services. With the addition of the latest judicial tools, the total now stands at 57, with plans to reach 100 services by year’s end. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. //Petra// RZ
