6/ Al-Balqa Applied University Explores Global Academic Collaboration with International Delegation
Salt, June 4 (Petra) -- Al-Balqa Applied University received an international academic delegation on Wednesday to discuss potential avenues for educational cooperation and curriculum development in line with global standards. The delegation included Alan Bruce, CEO of the Irish educational consultancy Universal Learning Systems; Timo Patala, co-founder of the Finnish company Context; local consultant Jumana Jaber; and Mohammad Atta, Head of Higher Education at UBCC, the Jordanian partner of Context. During the visit, the delegation met with University President Dr. Ahmad Al-Ajlouni, who underscored the importance of aligning academic programs with global developments to better meet the evolving needs of the labor market and society. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to engaging with international academic institutions and adopting best practices in teaching and training. "The university is actively seeking to enhance the capabilities of both students and faculty members through strategic partnerships that promote academic excellence and innovation," Al-Ajlouni said. As part of the visit, Patala delivered a presentation on Context’s educational initiatives, highlighting the company’s focus on training academic personnel in modern curricula and digital tools.
