36/ Awqaf Minister continues inspection tours on Jordanian pilgrims in Makkah
Makkah, June 3 (Petra) – Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Mohammad Khalaileh continued his inspection tour on Tuesday evening of hotels housing Jordanian pilgrims in the Jaroul, Hafa’ir, and Ibrahim Al-Khalil Street areas of Makkah. Accompanied by members of the media delegation and Director of Hajj and Umrah Majdi Btoush, the minister responded promptly to several concerns raised by pilgrims during the visit. In one hotel located farther from medical centers, pilgrims requested medical personnel be made available on-site. The minister immediately ordered the deployment of a physician and a pharmacist to ensure access to healthcare services for those staying there. In another gesture, Khalaileh approved the request of an elderly female pilgrim to return home by air rather than by bus due to her health condition. Several pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the minister, praising the kindness and professionalism of the ministry’s administrative mission staff. //Petra// AF
