25/ Jordan, Lebanon discuss future labor MoU
Amman, June 3 (Petra) – Minister of Labor Dr. Khaled Bakkar and Lebanese counterpart , Mohammad Haidar, on Tuesday discussed signing a joint memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the future, in a meeting held on the sidelines of the 113th session of the International Labour Conference currently being convened in Geneva. According to a ministry statement on Tuesday, the two ministers affirmed the "deep-rooted, brotherly" bilateral relations, noting importance of strengthening them in labor affairs. Bakkar said the Jordanian government is "keen" to assist Lebanese side with any services, in implementation of the Royal directives in this regard. Haidar, in turn, praised the inspection system implemented by Jordanian Ministry of Labor and the Kingdom's vocational training system. //Petra// AG
