34/ Jordanian, UAE armed forces conduct 2 airdrops in Gaza

Amman, July 30 (Petra) – The Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)– Arab Army on Wednesday carried out a new batch of airdrops to deliver relief aid to people in the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Air Force.

The new operation continues the Kingdom's joint humanitarian efforts in supporting the Palestinians amid the difficult circumstances facing the strip.

In a statement, the airdrops were carried out by two C-130 aircraft of Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) and its Emirati counterpart, in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).

16 tonnes of food and baby formula were delivered in various areas of Gaza Strip, bringing the total cargo dropped over the past few days to approximately 73 tonnes of essential supplies, as per a mechanism that ensures "efficient" delivery of aid.

To date, the JAF said it implemented a total of 130 aid airdrops, in addition to 270 joint airdrops conducted with the participation of several Arab and friendly countries, as part of integrated efforts to support the strip.
