34/ Jordan Phosphate Mines Company nets JOD250 million in profit
Amman, July 29 (Petra) – The Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) announced a 24% increase in net profits during the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year. The company achieved net profits after tax of approximately JOD250.13 million, up from JOD201.88 million in the first half of 2024. Total net sales for the first half of 2025 reached around JOD602.07 million, compared to JOD551.71 million in the same period last year, reflecting an 11.3% growth. Additionally, the company reported strong returns on capital, with earnings per share during the first half of 2025 amounting to 83.4% of the nominal share value. The company's operational results demonstrated positive indicators across production, marketing and financial performance, confirming the viability of its strategic plans. The results showed increased production and export of phosphates, phosphoric acid, and phosphate fertilisers compared to the same period last year. //Petra// AK
