Amman, July 27 (Petra) – A large-scale humanitarian convoy of 60 trucks carrying essential food supplies set off Sunday toward the Gaza Strip, offering a critical lifeline to Palestinians enduring worsening humanitarian conditions.

This relief effort was organized through close coordination between the JordanIian Armed Forces – Arab Army, the World Food Programme, and World Central Kitchen, reflecting a unified response to the escalating needs on the ground.

The convoy is part of Jordan’s steadfast commitment, both from its leadership and its people, to support Palestinians and ease the growing strain on Gaza’s population, who continue to face severe shortages due to the prolonged blockade.

These humanitarian missions are managed by the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), working alongside various official entities and international aid groups, under a broader campaign aimed at alleviating the suffering of civilians in Gaza.

Today’s convoy addresses immediate food insecurity and is expected to be followed by additional shipments in the days ahead, ensuring continued support for those most affected.
