8/ Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian Man in Jenin, Arrest 34 Across West Bank, Jerusalem

Ramallah, July 10 (Petra) -- A Palestinian man was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Rummanah, Jenin, on Thursday, while 34 others were arrested during wide-scale raids in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition at 55-year-old Ahmad Ali Al-Amour, then ran him over with a military vehicle and seized his body. The soldiers also arrested Al-Amour’s sons.

According to local sources, Israeli forces stormed the town, raided numerous homes, and vandalized their contents. Snipers were deployed across the area amid a heavy military presence, and a large-scale arrest campaign was carried out in the town.

With Al-Amour’s killing, the number of Palestinians killed in Jenin governorate since the start of the Israeli offensive on January 11 has risen to 41.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Prisoners Society said Israeli forces conducted extensive raids, home searches, and arrests in multiple areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, detaining 34 Palestinians the majority from Jerusalem as part of an intensified campaign targeting residents’ homes.
