Amman, July 10 (Petra) -- Jordan’s national football team ranked 64th worldwide, according to the latest FIFA World Ranking released on Thursday.

The national team dropped two spots from its previous position at 62nd, now holding 1,387.79 points in the new ranking.

Jordan also ranks ninth among Asian teams and eighth among Arab teams.

The team recently made history by officially qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, a milestone achievement that was met with widespread celebration across the country.
