15/ HCDS reviews rehabilitation efforts to empower injured personnel
Amman, July 8 (Petra) – Director General of Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers (HCDS) Moran Turk, on Tuesday received a delegation from the Military Sports Federation of the Jordanian and Saudi armed forces. In a statement, the visit aimed to learn about the HCDS's role in providing care programs for injured military personnel and its "comprehensive" services in the health, social, rehabilitation, and psychological fields, as well as its efforts to integrate the target groups into society. During the visit, the delegation were briefed on the HCDS's current programs and initiatives, as well as the national partnerships that enhance its capability to fulfill its humanitarian and national mission. Touring the HCDS's facilities, the delegates learned about the "success" stories of several injured veterans, who overcame their injuries with "resolve and perseverance, and successfully integrated into the labor market and achieved inspiring accomplishments." Meanwhile, the delegation members expressed their pride in the HCDS's services to the target groups, who have made sacrifices to serve Jordan's security and stability, valuing the various efforts in this area. //Petra// AG
