Tafilah, July 7 (Petra) – Around 3,000 students from Tafilah city and the districts of Hasa and Bseira have enrolled in summer centers for Quran memorization and Hadith studies, launched by the Tafilah Awqaf Directorate across 72 locations in the governorate.

Director of Awqaf Luay Thneibat said the centers adopt a comprehensive educational approach aimed at shaping well-rounded students by instilling religious and moral values and developing cognitive and social skills. The curriculum covers recitation rules (Tajweed), Islamic jurisprudence, and the life of the Prophet (Seerah).

He added that this year’s program, prepared by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, includes separate courses for boys and girls. It offers instruction in Quranic rulings, lectures on Islamic jurisprudence and theology, Hadith studies, and lessons in ethics, interpersonal conduct, and information on the shrines of the Prophet’s companions found across the kingdom.
