30/ Palestinian organizations, figures praise Jordan’s continuous support for people in Gaza
Gaza, Jan. 18 (Petra) – Palestinian civil society organizations and figures have praised Jordan’s continuous support for the people in Gaza at all levels, commending the aid convoys that Jordan continues to send to the Gaza Strip to alleviate the impacts of the humanitarian disaster caused by the Israeli aggression. Writer and human rights advocate Mustafa Ibrahim stated: "Amidst the genocide and the starvation caused by the Israeli occupation, Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, has never ceased in its political support for the Palestinian people. Throughout this genocide, Jordan has not faltered for a moment in sending relief convoys and humanitarian aid, which have had a profound impact on the people of Gaza, helping them to endure and persevere." Ibrahim added, "The opening of the Jordanian field hospital in Khan Yunis and its provision of medical treatment to Palestinians, healing their wounds, is a true expression of the Jordanian Arab spirit, which we have always known from the Jordanian people and their leadership in supporting and strengthening the steadfastness of the people of Gaza in the face of this genocide." For his part, director of the Stars of Hope Association in Gaza, Iyad Al-Karnaz, lauded the ongoing Jordanian support for the people of Gaza since the first moments of the aggression, which has had a significant impact in alleviating its effects and strengthening their resilience. Al-Karnaz expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, both politically and diplomatically, to halt the aggression and to support the Palestinian people in all international forums. He also praised the Jordanian people’s positions in support of the Palestinian people and their ongoing solidarity with their rights. Zaher Madi, director of the Arab Knights Association, said: "The Jordanian aid convoys have reached our hearts, representing this brave and noble Jordanian stand in support of our people in Gaza against this unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that our people are enduring." Madi pointed out that his organization works with many institutions to receive Jordanian aid convoys and direct them to those in need in Gaza, which has helped alleviate their suffering. In an article titled "The Hashemite Convoys," writer and novelist Said Abu Gaza stated: "A message of hope and love challenges the horrors of war amidst the darkness that has engulfed Gaza. Amid the roar of planes and the sounds of destruction, the Jordanian Hashemite aid convoys make their way under the guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II, as a beam of light carrying life." He added, "These convoys are not just trucks loaded with food or medical supplies; they are a humanitarian message that transcends borders, from the heart of the Jordanian people to their brothers in Gaza. They affirm that the spirit of Arab solidarity, particularly the Hashemite spirit, is stronger than all barriers." Abu Gaza confirmed, "These aid efforts embody the essence of Arabism in its finest form. They are not just material support; they are also an expression of shared destiny and principle. When we see the Jordanian flags flying over those convoys, we feel that Gaza is not alone and that the pain its people experience resonates in the hearts of Jordanians, with Hashemite leadership prioritizing standing by the people of Palestine." He added: "In times of war, people need more than food and medicine; they need hope and solidarity. These Hashemite convoys are not merely trucks, but a new pulse of life for Gaza and its people, and a voice telling the world that humanity is not dead and that Palestine will remain in the heart of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, with its king and people." //Petra// AF
