36/ JFA Announces Ticket Prices, Sales Mechanism for National Team Matches at 2026 World Cup

Amman, Dec 14 (Petra) - The Jordan Football Association (JFA) announced the ticket prices for Jordanian fans for the national football team’s matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup finals, along with the mechanism adopted to obtain them, in a step aimed at enabling supporters to follow the "Nashama" at the global football event.

According to the JFA, ticket prices for the national team’s group-stage matches at the 2026 World Cup are as follows. For the match between Jordan and Austria, prices are $450 for premium seats, $380 for standard seats, and $140 for economy seats. For the match between Jordan and Algeria, prices are $450 for premium seats, $380 for standard seats, and $140 for economy seats. For the match between Jordan and Argentina, prices are $700 for premium seats, $500 for standard seats, and $265 for economy seats.

The JFA explained that these procedures are in line with the ticket sales system approved by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), which includes multiple phases for purchasing tickets for the 2026 World Cup, including general sales and special allocations designated for participating associations.

The JFA said that 8 percent of each stadium’s capacity has been allocated to fans of the national team for the Nashama’s matches, with these tickets offered through the FIFA platform starting last Thursday and continuing until the thirteenth of next month.

It noted that obtaining tickets allocated to Jordanian fans requires prior registration through the Jordan Football Association’s website, by verifying the national ID number and date of birth, in order to obtain an "identification code" that allows access to the FIFA platform and completion of the application process for purchase.

The association added that the system allows each fan to purchase up to four tickets per match, with a random draw to be conducted if the number of applications exceeds the quota allocated to Jordanian fans.
It also explained that entering electronic payment information is a basic requirement to submit an application and that if the application is accepted, the ticket amount will be deducted during the designated payment period from Feb. 2 to Feb. 23, 2026.

In an important notice to supporters, the Jordan Football Association stressed that purchasing tickets for the 2026 World Cup matches does not guarantee obtaining an entry visa to the host countries and that fans must secure visas independently. It clarified that the identification code is used for one purchase request only and does not guarantee final ticket allocation, as applications will be confirmed after the end of the ticket offering period.

The association added that tickets will be available exclusively in electronic form through the official World Cup ticketing application, urging fans to follow instructions issued through the association’s official channels.
