Ramtha, Dec. 10 (Petra) – DNV, a global provider of quality management and certification services, announced Wednesday that King Abdullah University Hospital (KAUH) has renewed its ISO 22000:2018 certification for a new three-year cycle covering 2026–2029.

The hospital’s Director General, Hassan Balas, said the certifying body conducts periodic reviews and updates to ensure compliance with evolving standards. He noted that the hospital’s medical services, delivered under the ISO framework, align with international benchmarks for patient care, adding that quality remains a key criterion for hospital rankings in Jordan.

Balas stressed that renewing the ISO certification reflects the hospital’s vision to remain a leading healthcare institution in the Kingdom and a distinguished center for high-quality medical and training services that meet national and international standards.

For his part, the head of the Quality Improvement Department, Ahmed Yassin, said the certification renewal demonstrates the hospital’s strategic planning since its establishment and underscores its full commitment to applying rigorous quality and patient-safety standards.
