London, December 8 (Petra) – British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held discussions at Downing Street with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz on the developments in the war in Ukraine and the prospects for peace negotiations. In a statement issued by the British Prime Minister's office, the leaders underscored the importance of the US-led talks aimed at strengthening European security. They affirmed their support for the progress made so far and tasked their national security advisors with continuing consultations in the coming days to advance efforts toward a just and lasting peace that guarantees Ukraine's security.
