22/ QAIA Retains 4-Star Rating in Skytrax World Airport Audit
Amman, Dec. 8 (Petra) – The Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has successfully maintained its 4-star rating following the latest audit by Skytrax, a London-based international airport rating organization. In a statement released Monday, the Airport International Group (AIG) said the audit reaffirmed the QAIA’s high standards of service quality and operational performance across core airport functions. The multi-day assessment reviewed the entire passenger journey, including ground transportation, security and immigration procedures, terminal navigation, comfort, cleanliness, retail and dining services, and staff efficiency. The evaluation involved airlines, security agencies, ground handling services, and concessionaires, reflecting a collaborative effort. Skytrax’s report confirmed that the QAIA meets the 4-star criteria across all major evaluation categories, supported by a terminal environment described as "visually striking, operationally efficient, and architecturally distinctive." Auditors highlighted the abundance of natural light, attractive design, and the strong first impression the airport creates for passengers. The audit also noted the AIG’s planned improvement projects, which are expected to form a solid foundation for long-term enhancements. Group CEO Nicolas Deville said the renewed 4-star rating reflects the dedication, professionalism, and commitment of the entire airport community. He emphasized the AIG’s commitment to enhancing the passenger journey at every touchpoint, aligning with international standards and the airport’s strategic vision. //Petra// AJ
