Ajloun, Dec. 4 (Petra) -- The Ajloun Cable Car is granting persons with disabilities permanent free tickets, reinforcing its commitment to inclusive services and ensuring full access to one of Jordan’s key tourism projects.

This initiative was highlighted on Thursday as the Jordan Free and Development Zones (JFDZ) Group marked the International Day of Persons with Disabilities by hosting a group of individuals with disabilities and their families at the Ajloun Cable Car, in coordination with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Director of the Ajloun Development Area, Tareq Al-Ma’aytah, said that a range of interactive and inclusive activities were organized inside the gondolas and around the site. These included both educational and recreational segments aimed at enhancing participation and providing a safe and enjoyable tourism experience.

The Group emphasized that these efforts reflect its broader commitment to promoting equality, supporting community integration, and ensuring that persons with disabilities can enjoy the full tourism experience without barriers.

It also reaffirmed its dedication to providing universally accessible facilities and services that support ease of movement and access, ensuring that all visitors can benefit from national tourism attractions.
