Amman, April 27 (Petra) -- The Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt by four individuals on Saturday at one of its border crossings on the northern borders, an official military source announced Sunday.

The source reported that the rules of engagement were applied, resulting in the arrest of the four infiltrators, who have since been transferred to the relevant authorities.

The source emphasised that the Armed Forces remain committed to utilising their diverse capabilities and resources to prevent all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations.
