Amman, April 22 (Petra) –Jordan's Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) at Public Security Directorate (PSD) dealt with 1,477 various incidents across the Kingdom over the past 24 hours.

In a statement Tuesday, the CDD said incidents included 1,330 emergency cases, as initial medical services were provided and cases were transported to Jordan's hospitals, with an average response time of 7: 37 minutes.

Civil defense personnel also carried out 92 rescue operations, as teams rescued people from high and closed terrains and dealt with traffic accidents, with an average response time of 7: 35 minutes.

As for firefighting efforts, teams put out 55 fires, with an average response time of 7:34 minutes.
