4/ Jordan Braces for Warmer Days Ahead; Weekend Temperatures to Exceed Seasonal Norms
Amman (Petra) – A slight rise in temperatures is expected across the Kingdom today, with conditions warmer than usual for this time of year.
Most regions will experience mild to warm weather, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will be notably hot.
High clouds may appear throughout the day, and winds will blow from the southeast at moderate speeds.
Saturday will bring a further increase in temperatures, climbing 5–6 C above the seasonal average. Warm conditions will persist across much of the country, with continued heat in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
Skies will see some high-altitude clouds, and winds will shift from moderate southeasterlies to northwesterlies by afternoon.
On Sunday, a drop in temperatures is expected. The weather will remain warm in most areas and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
High clouds will continue, and northwesterly winds will become moderate to active at times, raising dust in desert regions.
A slight further decrease in temperatures is anticipated on Monday. Conditions will be mild in the highlands, warm in the plains and desert, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
High clouds are likely, with northwesterly winds occasionally picking up and stirring dust in the eastern desert.
