70/ MP calls for harshest punishments for anyone attempting to undermine Jordan's security

Amman, April 15 (Petra) – Chairman of the Parliament's Palestine Committee, Suleiman Saud, stated that the recent revelations by the Knights of the General Intelligence Department (GID) are not merely "a successful security operation," but a national lesson in steadfastness, determination, and bravery in the face of anyone who dares to threaten Jordan's security or destabilize its stability.

Saud emphasized that anyone planning to manufacture missiles and drones, conceal explosives, or recruit young people for suspicious purposes is not just a criminal but a traitor to their country and an enemy and will be branded with the disgrace of betrayal. He called on security agencies to impose the harshest penalties and sever any hand attempting to tamper with Jordan's security.

He added, "From my position as a representative of this proud people, I demand not only the prosecution of these individuals but also accountability for anyone who concealed, facilitated, conspired, or even remained silent about these plans. Silence is betrayal, and complacency regarding the security of the nation is an unforgivable crime."

Saud commended the GID's Knights of the Wright, the brave Arab Army, and the security personnel guarding the nation's borders and interior, reaffirming his support for His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander, the strong and resolute leader, and Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince, the guardian of this nation's future.

He concluded by stressing there will be no tolerance, forgiveness, or mercy for anyone who seeks to ignite discord in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, a country that remains resilient against those plotting destruction and division, as Jordan has always stood firm and steadfast in its positions.
