69/ Attempts to undermine Jordan's security are cowardly acts of betrayal rejected by every Jordanian, MP says

Amman, April 15 (Petra) – First Deputy Speaker of the Lower House of Representatives Mustafa Khasawneh said that any attempt to undermine Jordan’s security and stability is a crime, a cowardly act, and a gross betrayal that is rejected by every Jordanian, who will not allow it.

In a statement issued Tuesday, Khasawneh added that any attempt to tamper with Jordan's security and stability is unacceptable and a crime that requires a firm response against anyone who dares to threaten the security, safety, and property of Jordanians or their homeland.

He emphasized that the plots uncovered by the General Intelligence Directorate (Knights of the Right) are a fully realized crime that warrants the harshest penalties without any leniency or tolerance toward those responsible.

Khasawneh expressed pride and admiration for Jordanians’ Armed Forces – the Arab Army – and security agencies, stressing that the people of Jordan stand united behind their Hashemite leadership, their noble army, and their brave security agencies.

He also praised the heroic efforts of the General Intelligence Directorate's officers in tracking down this misguided group and exposing their plans to carry out their actions within the Kingdom, reaffirming that Jordan will remain resilient against its enemies with God's help.
