67/ Palestinian refugee camp stakeholders denounce criminal plots against national security

Amman, April 15 (Petra) – The Refugee Camp Service Committees, advisory bodies, civil society organizations, and popular activities in Palestinian refugee camps across the Kingdom condemned the criminal schemes targeting Jordan’s national security, calling for no leniency with any threat to Jordan’s security and the creation of chaos.

In a statement, the committees reaffirmed their full and continuous support for the country’s leadership in confronting those attempting to destabilize the nation, sow discord, or disrupt the public stability that Jordan enjoys, thanks to God and the wisdom of the Hashemite leadership.

They strongly condemned all desperate attempts to harm national security and cause material destruction under any pretext, urging everyone to act with a sense of responsibility and belonging, and to resist anything that threatens national unity whether through incitement, spreading rumors, or any form of intellectual and behavioral disorder that jeopardizes the safety of the people and the country.

The committees praised the decisive actions taken by the security agencies to maintain the safety of the nation and its citizens, deeming them essential to protect national achievements, bolster state authority, uphold the rule of law, and continue the nation’s development and progress, especially amidst futile attempts to fuel tensions, destabilize the country, ignite conflicts, and harm the cohesive national fabric.

They also emphasized that Jordan’s role, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, regarding the Palestinian cause is a constant and honorable one, grounded in unchanging principles, and represents an authentic and steadfast Arab position. This position supports the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, defends Jerusalem, opposes all attempts to liquidate the cause or undermine its rightful demands, and exerts all efforts to support our people in Gaza against the brutal aggression. The committees reiterated their rejection of all plans for forced displacement, asserting that Jordan’s stability and national unity remain firmly committed to serving the Palestinian cause.

They called on all citizens to stand united and continue working for the advancement of the beloved nation, solidifying the principles of loyalty and belonging, far from calls for discord and voices of skepticism.
